Hi again all.

I want to create an account to use on windows live messenger, and I want to use a specific email address and password for this account.
However, when I try to create this new account through Live messenger, I can only choose between a Hotmail, and a Livmail account, (and I don't want it).
How can one bypass this and create this account using another email address?

Once again, all help is much appreciated.

Thanks

And once your account is created through winows messenger you can use it on windows live messenger. Just make sure you remove windows messengefirst before installing windows live after youraccount is created

Oh it's actually pretty easy. My fiance created his windows live id with his email address which ended in .comcast.net. All you do is go to your controll pannel, then user accounts, then change your account. You know where it says change password, change picture and things like that? Down arrow to change my .netPassport and it should be pretty easy from there. It will ask you if you want to use your windows live id or your email and choose your email and a page will pop up and you just fill it out. Once that's done, I'm pretty sure you can just sign in with that email address. Hope this helps. I think they've got this horrible audio capcha thing you have to listen to and write out. So it's pretty accessible. hehehe Good luck!
